As reported by the sports portal
Football.lv, the latvian national futsal champions of
Raba are working to prepare their participation in the
UEFA Futsal Cup 2006/2007 main round. The club from Riga have played some friendly matches, and some more are scheduled in the next days. From the first results obtained against
LSPA (third classified in the past league) and
Kimmel (runner up) is quite clear how
Raba is still dominating national futsal in Latvia and will therefore try to find new incentives in Europe.
Here are the results
Raba - Lspa
8-1Raba - Kimmel
9-0In the meanwhile Raba has played vs
Rinuzhi (2nd division winner) on September 26th, and then moved to Lithuania where they faced
Nautara yesterday. We will post the results as soon as possible. On October 4th there will be the last challenge vs another latvian club,
Monarch.
Latvian league is planned to start at the end of October.
Here is the current team training with Raba, just fourteen from this list will travel towards Hungary for the UEFA Futsal Cup group.
