Vietnam futsal league to debut in 2007

The Vietnam Football Federation will launch its first National Futsal (indoor football) League next year in an effort to get players ready for the Asian Indoor Games 2009 to be held in the country.
So far 14 football clubs have registered for the five-a-side futsal league, namely:

Hanoi
Ha Nam
Thai Binh
Hue
Danang
Quang Ngai
Dak Lak
Khanh Hoa
Ho Chi Minh City
Can Tho
Dong Thap
Dong Nai
Tien Giang
An Giang

Competition will start in January 2007.
