Hellenic Championship Day 3The third day of the Hellenic Championship was one of yet more surprising results.
Ilioupoli lost another home game, this time against
Ethnikos Asteras 4-5 with Stamatis
Argiris scoring his personal third and most decisive goal just 2 seconds before the end to give his team a much needed win. The home team did not play well and was trailing at halftime 0-3. This is the second home loss for Ilioupoli losing valuable ground in the race for the play-offs.
Iniohos won an unexpected game against
Platon 2-1 also with a goal in the last minute as
Baso broke away from the Platon defense and scored the winning goal. Platon was led once again by Kouvaras who was their best player but was sent off in the 37th minute after seeing a second yellow card.
In other action Minotavros tied Kosmos 7-7, Salamina continued their impressive winning streak against Aeas 13-8, while Gerakas got their first win of the season at Ermis Koridalou 3-5.
The last game of day 3, between Doukas and Athina 90 will be played on the 2nd day of November due to the unlucky trip of Athina90 to Split for the Futsal Cup.
