Hellenic league - round 4

Salamina continues to lead the way in the Hellenic Championship after day 4. The “islanders” have stunned the public with their unbelievable performances this year, as they managed to win one more tough game at Ilioupoli 4-5. The home team lost another game and seems to be struggling up to now under new head coach Giorgos Drimonas.

Ilioupoli was leading in the first half 4-1 and seemed to be in charge of the game. In the second half the guests came back and managed to win with a goal by Papageorgiou. In other action Athina ’90 returned to the Hellenic league with a convincing win against Minotavros 8-1 and seems to be returning to good form. Dimitris Katsos scored 4 goals for the home team which prepares to face Platon next week in the most important game of day 5. Platon also seems to be heading towards the derby in good shape as they demolished Kosmos 12-2 with Panagiotis Kavvadias scoring 4 goals to lead the game. Ethnikos Asteras won the game against Ermis 2-0 as the guests have decided to withdraw from the league due to financial reasons. They will be excluded from all future games. Iniohos continued their uplifting form with another win at Gerakas 3-4. They had Mpatsoulis scoring twice as they now have two wins in a row. Finally Aeas Pallinis remains winless after another devastating loss at home against Doukas 3-5. Doukas had Alkis Vandoros in great shape scoring three goals to lead he way for the guests.
