Taipei International Invitational Futsal Tournament

Altough Macau tried to play a more positive futsal than their first match against Chinese Taipei, Asahikawa proved to be too strong. Six first half and five second half goals sealed the match in favour of the japanese side. Superior skill and combinations of the Asahikawa players are winning the hearts of the futsal crowd of in Taipei Gymnasium, and the spectators are showing it by cheering every move japanese players make.
Even though the tournament is held in Taipei, it looks like the crowd will be on Asahikawa's side when they meet Chinese Taipei National team tomorrow, in the closing match of the tournament.


In the most awaited match Taipei Select came on top with two second half goals. Though it was a tight and exiting match, Chinese Taipei did not show that they were the national team, and for long periods soaked up the presure of Taipei Select. This result will creat a small problem for the Chinese Taipei Football Association, as their national team is beaten by a local futsal association, namely T.P.F.A. (TAIPEI FUTSAL ASSOCIATION)
