Hellenic league - round 5

At the end of the day the main matter is to get three points. Such is the case of Athina ’90 which managed to win one more game against Platon (final score, 4-6) and confirm to be currently the top team in the league. Athina ’90 had better posture in the game and led for the most part of it. They capitalized on their opportunities and performed more maturely to get a significant away victory.
Platon failed once again to win against their main contenders for the title and have been left behind in the race for the play-offs. Iniohos continued their winning streak and beat Ethnikos Asteras 6-3 with Antonis Manos scoring four goals to lead his team. Minotavros overcame the resistance of Aeas 9-6 and have gained important ground in the league, while Ilioupoli got an easy three points against Ermis who have withdrawn from the league.
Gerakas got an unexpected win at Kosmos 2-4 and have significantly improved their chances of staying in the league. Salamina maintains first place with their surprising performance this year, this time with a win against Doukas 5-2 at home. The team has managed to gain everyone’s attention with their results up to now and certainly pose as a favorite for a play-off position.
