Alexander Burlac, current president of the Moldovan Futsal CCommitte, in charge since 1992, was re-elected for the next four years (period 2006-2010) having reached the 77% of preferences during the last General Assembly of AFSM which took place on November 5th.

Alexander Gorgan, former President of FC RAPID, was named as vice-president, while Nicolai Moseac (Federal Observer of Moldovan FA) is the new General Secretary of the local committee.

The new composition of the executive committee is as follows:

After the election mr. Burlac declared: "It was really an historical moment in the development of futsal in Moldova. There were hard discussions and a strong election battle between opposite candidates before, but all that leaded us to creat a new concept of futsal development. We will pay more attention to the organizational and even bureaucratic matters, developing new regulations of competitions, as well as working on youth and regional futsal on all levels.
We hope that the Football Association will pay more attention on futsal and help us in our aims."
