Japanese Futsal
Great news from Japan, where the first ever professional club Taiyoyakuhin/BANFF, which will be involved in the first national league to start in 2007, has announced the intention to build an own futsal arena in Aichi.

The Ocean Arena would be therefore used exclusively for futsal, with the following characteristics:

Main Arena: 40m X 20m; Height 12m (Polyurethane coated - Blue)
- Transparency Roof
- Seat: 2528 seats (included Royal seat: 14, Wheelchair seat : 12,
Premier A: 78, Premier: 90)
- 7m¡ß3m LED vision


Sub Arena: 40m X 20m; Height 5m (Sports Court - Blue)
- Seat: 184 seats
- 3m¡ß2m LED vision

Other Features
- Press Room
- Restaurant
- Official Shop
- Club House (Included Medical and Training room)
- VIP room
- Air conditioner

It was reported that the Ocean Arena will cost about 40 millions $ and should be completed on May 2008.

"Our ambition is to make the Ocean Arena turning into the futsal worldwide center" declared Mr. Shintani, Taiyoyakuhin Kogyo president, which is the main sponsor of Taiyoyakuhin/BANFF Futsal club.

"We are planning to host an international tournament when inaugurating the Arena, inviting well known clubs from Spain and Brazil", said mr. Sakurai, General Manager of the Japanese club.
