Futsal/National Championships: Federation Awaits Representatives Of Benguela


Luanda, 11/17) - Angolan In Door Soccer Federation (FAFUSA) waits until Saturday for the names of athletes of Benguela province who will participate in the national futsal championships in both sexes, to happen from November 25 to December 02 in Lubango city, southern Huíla province.

Speaking to ANGOP this Friday, the secretary general of FAFUSA, Eliseu Major said that if the Benguela association does not obey the scheduled date, the province will be excluded from the competition.

In males, the competition, in which the title holders are Escolinhas of Luanda, will count for the 11th edition, whilst the ladies will compete for the sixth edition. Interclube of Kwanza-Sul is the national champions in this class.

Below are the teams that qualified for both competitions:

Males - Escolinhas, Usoko, Rádio Nacional de Angola and Toyota de Angola (Luanda province), Académicos and 11 de Novembro (Namibe), Gira Jovem and Inter (Bengo), Fimfic, Desportivo Lage and Arosfram (Huila) and Usoko (Moxico).

Ladies - Interclube (Kwanza-Sul province), Gira Jovem (Bengo), Estrela (Huila), Cafa, Card and Desportivo do Tômbwa (Namibe).
