Hellenic league - round 7

The Hellenic Championship resumed in action after the short break for the Cup last week. Leaders remain at top spots and continued with winning results. Salamina keep on leading the way in the league with another win at home this time against Minotavros 6-4. The islanders continue to impress with the solid performance and their maturity. Ramfos and Mertiris scored two goals each to lead their team in scoring.
Athina ’90 also increased their winning series and beat Ethnikos Asteras easily 11-6 at home. Current champions are missing many players due to injuries but continue to perform well. Litos and Begai lead the team in scoring with three goals each, while Kardasis tallied three for the guests. Platon had no problem overcoming Doukas 5-2 who was missing key players in their roster. Ilioupoli managed yet another away win at Kosmos 2-6 with Mourdoukoutas scoring 4 goals for his team. Ilioupoli is picking up their pace and have managed to improve their game and get much needed wins. They are now placed at 5th place. In other action Aeas won their first game of the season at Gerakas and is looking towards the future with more optimism. Alexios Mostrios lead his team with his performance and three goals while Patramanis scored 4 goals for the home team. The championship continues with day 8 next week with the derby between Ilioupoli and Athina ’90.
