The Korea TimesKorea Lags in Blind futsal Brazil and Argentina are rolling to their second championship of the fourth IBSA Blind Futsal World Championships in Buenos Aires.
The football-style competition consists of two teams with five players, four of whom should be completely blind and one goalkeeper who may be fully sighted or partially sighted, who acts as a guide.
Brazil, which won the title of the first competition in 1998, and defending champion Argentina lead their group A and B, respectively.
In Group A are Paraguay, France and Japan and Spain, winner of the second contest in 2000. England and South Korea belong to Group B together with Argentina. Korea lost to Spain and Argentina, 6-0 and 5-0, while had a scoreless tie with England, staying bottom of the standing in the group.
Under the ruled squads should be composed of a maximum of 13 representatives, eight players; two goalkeepers; one coach; one assistant coach; one doctor or physiotherapist.
The match lasts two equal periods of 25 minutes.
The preliminary matches will be done by today.
