Guatemala to host 2007 CONCACAF Pan Am Futsal Qualification

1.12.06 - Guatemala will host the 2007 CONCACAF Pan American Futsal Qualification at the Domo Arena in Guatemala City from 9-11 March.
Along with the hosts, the event will feature Costa Rica and Panama as they compete for the two remaining CONCACAF berths to the Futsal Tournament at the 2007 Pan American Games in Brazil.

The canaleros open tournament play on 9 March against the chapines, while the next day, Panama takes on the ticos. Guatemala concludes the event on 11 March when they play against Costa Rica.

The two teams progressing from the triangular along with the CONCACAF Futsal Champion and Runner-up, USA and Cuba, respectively, will compete along with four CONMEBOL squads in the inaugural Futsal Tournament at the Pan American Games.
