The AFC.comAFC Disciplinary Committee fines several associations07.12.2006FUTSAL1) The Chinese Taipei Football Association has been fined USD 10,000 for failing to seek the AFC's approval for the Chinese Taipei International Invitational Futsal Tournament which violates Article 11-V (Tournaments) of the Regulations Governing the Application of the AFC Statutes.
The competition involved four futsal sides – the Chinese Taipei and Macau national teams, the Taipei Futsal Association's Select Team and the Japanese futsal club DC Asahikawa – and according to Article 11-V (Tournaments) of the Regulations governing the application of AFC Statutes 'All tournaments involving more than two local or national teams (clubs or representative teams) which belong to difference member associations must be approved by the Confederation.
