Macarthur ChronicleQuake suffer five losses in futsal leaguePENRITH'S Western Raiders shook up Campbelltown City Quake in the NSW Futsal Premier League competition by inflicting five losses on the higher-ranked home team at Minto on Saturday.
The Raiders kept their composure against some tough competition despite an early 10-1 loss in the 12 years boys the previous weekend.
Patrick Antelmi kept up his scoring momentum with a personal tally of four goals.
Quake's 14 boys led 2-0 before the Raiders scored three quick goals in a matter of minutes to turn the match and eventually grab a 5-3 win.
The 13 girls' match was one-sided, the home side going down 8-0, before the 16 girls fought back for a 6-3 win.
Five players shared the scoring, Lisa Hoban leading the way with two, to highlight the all-round strength of the team.
The 16 boys lost 3-0, the Raiders potting their hat-trick in the second half, while the youth men turned the cards on the Raiders 5-2.
It turned into a long night for the Quake, the women going down 5-3 and the men falling short 2-1.
The Quake will again be challenged in all grades on Saturday when they take on arch enemies Sydney Magic at a venue to be decided.
