Sad news from Brazil. The 46 years old Thai national team coach, brazilian born, Glaucio de Castro is dead yesterday in Fortaleza, due to an heart attack. His funeral will take place today in Cearense.

Futsal will lose one of the best coach of the world, who was deeply involved in the last years in developing our sport in Thailand. Former player of Sumov and Banfort, he also worked as a coach for many well known brazilian clubs and conquered the Mundialito in Reggio Calabria (Italy) with the Brazilian Under 23 selection, as well as the Sulamericano Sub 20 with the young canarinhos.

Having been a great friend of Futsalplanet.com during the last years, we are close to Glaucio's family in this hard moment.
