AZERBAIJAN FUTSAL TEAM DOWNS TURKEY 4-2

Azerbaijan national futsal team posted a 4-2 win over Turkey in a friendly match in Baku yesterday.

The first half began with a welcome flurry of attacks as both sides tried to force the advantage, but it was Turkey, which celebrated the first goal.

Azerbaijan began the second half with spirited attacks and its strikers scored two goals in a couple of minutes to give their team a 2-1 lead.

Despite the visitors grabbed the equaliser later on, it was the home side’s two more goals which led it to a 4-2 win.

The second Azerbaijan vs Turkey match will be played on Wednesday.
