Important news from Asian Futsal. On December 6th was elected the new Lebanese Futsal committee, which immediately started its work in order to develop futsal in the country.

Here is the current Lebanese Futsal Committee:

Vice-President and National Team Director: Elie Kosseifeh
Refereeing Responsible: Fadi Kiladjian
Responsible of Competitions: Bilal Yazbeck
Futsal Development responsible: Nadim Nassif


Lebanese national team will now have to prepare for the 2007 Asian Futsal Champs (Osaka, Japan, May 2007) and is therefore looking for a new head coach to guide the national team, as well as for brazilian or foreign players with lebanese origins interested in playing with Lebanon.

Finally, we have to remind that the friendly match vs Libya, scheduled for december 15th in the African country, was deleted for a Lebanese Futsal Committee decision, due to the small time given to prepare for the game.
