Many interesting news coming from Polish Futsal. On January 13th was played the
Polish Super Cup 2006/2007, which registered the expected victory of national champions of
Clearex Chorzow over
Jango Myslowice. Expected, but not easy: Clearex conquered a thrilling match in the last minute of the game, thanks to an own goal by
Damian Wojtas forced by a terrific shot by Marzec. Finally another goal by
Marzec put an end of the Super Cup story. That was the second ever edition of the tournament in Poland: the first saw the Baustal Krakow triumph two seasons ago, while in the past season was not played.

First Polish Futsal Gala in Bielsko BialaDuring the Super Cup event, Polish futsal celebrated also the first ever Futsal Gala, in order to award the best characters of the futsal year.
Andrzej Szlapa (Clearex Chorzow, captain of national team) was named as best player, while the national team head coach
Tomasz Aftanski was awarded as best coach. The revelation player trophy went to the Grembach Lodz's talent
Daniel Krawczyk, while
Jacek Ligienza took the best referee's title. Finally the choice about the futsal personality of the year was taken in favour of the Clearex president and manager
Zdzislaw Wolny.
One last news from the national team, that today will start its challenge in the 4 nations tournament against Serbia, Ukraine and Moldova:
Robert Nazarewicz (Kupczyk Kraksw) is out because of injury and has been replaced by
Krzysztof Filipczak (Clearex).
