Cosmo FC still leads in Indonesian Pro League

The second round of the Indonesian Futsal Pro League has just ended. The youngest team, Cosmo FC, keep on beeing on the top of the ranking after beating Pro Duta (5-4), Biangbola (4-3) and obtaining a draw against Mastrans (5-5). At the beginning of the season Cosmo FC was considered as an underdog among top teams like Mastrans and Biangbola, but after 2 league rounds the "Young Guns" has shocked Indonesian Futsal community thanks to their fast ball circulation and individual skills. According to their captain Andri Irawan "youngsters has brutally shown that team work wins over individual skills, combined with the right fighting spirit we can challenge every team in this Pro League".

Meanwhile, some changes has occured in the ranking. Biangbola falls to nr 4 after being runner up at the end of the 1st round. Mastrans takes over the 2nd place with 3 points behind leader Cosmo FC. And Jogja Electric took the 3rd place counting on the same points amount as Biangbola but with better goal average. For the complete record please click here

Third and last round will be held in the UNY Stadium in Yogyakarta on the 8th-11th of February 2007 and will be immediately followed by the league semifinals on the 13th and 14th of February. Winners will finally play the deciding match on the 15th of February 2007.
