The local web portal Futsal Ukraine run by our collaborator Sergey Tchajka, together with the Donetsk magazine Sport-Arena have announced the Ukrainian Futsal Awards 2006.

The Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Vladislav Korneev was awarded as best player of the year, counting on a total amount of 171 points (24 preferences as best place, 7 votes as runner up, 4 ones as 3rd place, 4 at 4th place and finally 3 preferences as 5th one).

The runner up prize went to another Shakhtar player, the talented Sergey Sytin with 163 points, while the Enakievez's Valeriy Zamyatin took the third place of the standing with 94 points.
