Myanmar Futsal team constituted with players based on semifinalists of 2nd Mayor Futsal Cup to take part in 2007 Asian Futsal Championship

Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) selected a total of 20 eligible players to set up Myanmar Futsal team on 25 January with the plan of participating in Asian Futsal Championship in 2007. In the drive to select the players to set up Myanmar Futsal team, MFF has chosen players from the four semifinalist teams in 2nd Mayor Futsal Cup - UPT, Galaxy, Royal Seamen and Sanchaung. The caps for Myanmar Futsal team are four from UPT, three from Galaxy, three from Royal Seamen, four from YCDC, four from Sanchaung, one each from United-1 and BTI.

Former coach of Myanmar Women's selected team U Aye Maung Lay and U Pe Khin are coaching Myanmar Futsal Team. The camp training will be folded in on 31 January.

The 2007 Asian Futsal Championship will be held in Chinese Taipei from 1 to 5 March 2007. Myanmar Futsal team will leave on 27 February. The last 12 players will be chosen just before the championship. Arrangements have been made for twenty players to start the camp training.
