In these days the Guatemalan national team coached by Carlos Eduardo Estrada was in Pinar del Rio (Cuba), taking part in the international tournament Copa INDER (February 5-10, 2007) together with the Cuban National team (splitted in "A" and "B" teams) and the local regional selection of Pinar del Rio.

This tournament (today Guatemala will face Cuba A in the final match) will work as a preparation stage for Estrada, looking for the CONCACAF qualifiers for the Panamerican Games (Rio de Janeiro 2007). Guatemala will host the CONCACAF group, to be played against Panama and Costa Rica on March 9, 10 and 11 in the "Domo Polideportivo zona 13" hall of Guatemala City.
