Another important feature of 2007 is the establishment of the national futsal team, managed directly by the Vietnam Football Federation, in preparation for the Southeast Asian championship and the 24th SEA Games. This is good news as futsal is considered to fit Vietnamese physical conditions. Also, investment for futsal is not as big as for outdoor football.
