2007 CONCACAF Pan Am Futsal Qualification set for Guatemala next month

28.2.07 - The 2007 CONCACAF Pan American Games Futsal Qualification is set for the the Domo Arena in Guatemala City, Guatemala from 7-9 March.

Along with the hosts, the event will feature Costa Rica and Panama as they compete for the two remaining CONCACAF berths to the Futsal Tournament at the 2007 Pan American Games in Brazil.

The canaleros open tournament play on 7 March against the chapines, while the next day, they take on the ticos. Guatemala concludes the event on 9 March when they play against Costa Rica.

The two teams progressing from the triangular along with the CONCACAF Futsal Champion and Runner-up, USA and Cuba, respectively, will compete with four CONMEBOL squads in the inaugural Futsal Tournament at the Pan American Games.
