 STOP PRESS !!!
Queensland Futsal this week will sign a contract to take over the two court stadium at ACACIA RIDGE. The complex includes an indoor heated swimming pool, 5 outdoor beach volleyball courts, and office space for the whole state office to move to. Its location is also perfect being next to Acacia Ridge Police Station, across the road from Acacia Ridge Hotel/Motel with a major bus stop in front on Beaudesert Road. The venue will be used as a central training venue for state teams and as the new location of state office. It is hoped to move the state office in late October.
On top of our presence in the Townsville Indoor Stadium this now gives us a home base in both the north and the south of Queensland.

HUMOUR
ANSWER TO LAST WEEKS QUESTIONS:
What were the last English clubs of West Ham?s three 1966 World Cup stars
Bobby Moore - Dagenham ( Note : Fulham was his last LEAGUE club)
Martin Peters - Norwich
Geoff Hurst - Telford Town (the second best club in SALOP behind
Shrewsbury Town)
2. Where was the first Futsal Centre in Queensland ?
MURGON, in the South Burnett, started in 1980.
3. Who takes the penalties in a penalty shootout in Futsal ?
Any five players OF THE PLAYERS NOMINATED ON THE TEAM SHEET, can take the penalties, not necessarily the finishing five players.
The sixth and following penalties must be taken be all the remaining players NOMINATED ON THE TEAM SHEET. You only go back to the first player when the rest have taken a penalty.
THIS WEEK?S QUESTIONS
Marco Bresciano this week became the fourth Australian to play in the SERIE A ( Italian soccer first division ). Who was the first and at what club ? Which country at the 2002 Soccer World Cup was sponsored by UHLSPORT ? Where was the first purpose built football ground in the world built ? Who is the only club to come from 2-0 behind in an FA Cup final to win the game (and what year)?
THAT?S ALL FOLKS?..SEE YOU NEXT WEEK
