Press release by Agbu Ararat futsal club


AGBU ARARAT of Nicosia won the championship title of Cyprus Futsal for the 6th time in its history, after beating tonight GC School by 5-2, as last night Parnasos lost to Omonia 3-4. Three games before the end with 10 points we are again deserving champions. The King of Cypriot Futsal is back to his Throne.

We send our greetings to our friends and supporters and we thank our sponsors. To those who are happy with our achievements we promise more titles and cups.

Congratulations to our players, Ardag, Athos,Armen, Sergio, Raffi, Jack, Yiannos, Koullis, Loizos, Thasos, Panikos, and to our captain Igor.

Congratulations also to our Coaches Karekin and Ara, and also to the hard worker Kevork.

We would like also to congratulate the other teams, specially of the final four, Parnasos, GC School and Omonia for the excellent performance and high standard of futsal that we all offered this season.

ARARAT is now waiting for the draw of the European Futsal cup - (UEFA 2007) to represent our country- Cyprus for the 6th time.
