Vietnam prepares for regional futsal champs

VietNamNet Bridge - The national futsal team has convened in HCM City since early March to prepare for the Southeast Asian Futsal Championship 2007, which will take place in Thailand from March 24-31.

The squad includes 21 players selected from nine teams, which participated in the national futsal championship 2007.

After two weeks of training, the coaching board today, March 15, will announce the list of 15 players who will go to Thailand on March 24.

Vietnam will play against host Thailand (March 26), Brunei (March 27), and Myanmar (March 28) in Group B.

Vice coach of the team, Nguyen Hong Son, said that the Vietnam’s team can enter the semi-final round.
