Thailand will host 5th ASEAN Futsal Championship


Mr. Adisak Benjasiriwan, the Futsal Manager of Thailand, says Thailand will host the 5th ASEAN Futsal Championship at Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok between March 26th and 31st, 2007.

The tournament will be divided into two groups. The first group, or Group A, will consist of futsal teams from Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, while Group B will include teams from Thailand, Brunei, Myanmar and Vietnam.

The first round of the competition will start from March 26th to 28th, and four matches will be played on each day, starting from 12:00 hours. The semi-finals will be played on March 30th, starting from 16:00 hours. The championship match as well as the match for 3rd place will be on March 31st.

Thailand's Channel 11 will broadcast the matches of the 5th ASEAN Futsal Championship. Tickets are priced at only 20 baht, and students with their identification cards can watch the games free of charge
