International players required

WHAT IS FUTSAL?

· There are an estimated 110 million players participating in Futsal across the world.
· Futsal is the Official UEFA and FIFA version of indoor 5-a-side football, the high tempo game is played with a size 4 ball which is designed to have a reduced bounce.
· The consequence of this is that the ball tends to stay close to the floor more often which accelerates the development of skills such as passing, dribbling and close control.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

· We are currently scouting for new players for the up and coming European Championships to be held in Turkey this coming December.
· As we are affiliated with the FAI senior caps are given for every game.
· We are looking for males aged between 17 and 35 who have a degree of vision impairment
§ i.e. a person who is unable to drive or read without the aid of glasses
· We train every Saturday from 12pm to 3pm in Blanchardstown I.T.
· Coaching is provided by an approved FAI coach with a full backup team.
