Japan line up two futsal friendlies against Argentina

TOKYO: Japan will play two friendlies against Argentina in preparation for their defence of the AFC Futsal Championship title in Osaka next month.


The first match is scheduled for May 3 at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe and the second game will be played two days later at the Osaka City Central Gymnasium, which is also the main venue for the AFC Futsal Championship (May 13-19). The second venue is Hyogo.


Sapo’s Japan are in Group A with Tajikistan, Hong Kong and Philippines for the ninth edition of the Asian futsal showpiece and start their campaign for a double against the Philippines in Osaka.
