Leszek Latacz is the new coach of Polish national team, replacing the former trainer Tomasz Aftanski as announced by the local futsal committee. He already had a previous experience on the Polish bench, during three months spent in the 2001/2002 season.

Latacz, born on 12.06.1959, was appointed by the Polish FA in order to prepare the team for the 2008 World Championship Qualifiers.

Physical Education teacher without any experience as a futsal player, he was in charge of the newly created Under 19 selection, but had to leave the task in order to start on working with the A team.

During the current season he has been working with the 3rd division club Mikolow gaining the promotion to the second division.
Latacz was born and still lives in Mikolow.
