By our japanese collaborator
Kenji Tamaki - Salapassion As reported by the
Pivo! Magazine official web site, the
Australian National team coached by
Scott Gilligan will soon travel towards Japan. That would obviously happen due to the imminent start of the
9th AFC Futsal Champs. The great event, which sees the historical debut of Australia in the final stage, will be preceded by a short training camp in the japanese town
Ise, as the town administration has invited the former oceanian confederation team. In this period (May 7th-11th) Australia will face the top national club
Nagoya Oceans (may 9th), recently involved in the Intercontinental Cup and current absolute star of Japanese futsal. Then
Scott Gilligan and his guys will stage some clinics for the Ise based children.
