NBT National Futsal Championship

The 4th NBT National Futsal Championship Cup 2007 sponsored by Pertubuhan Bolasepak Brunei dan Muara (PBDBM) with the cooperation of Youth and Sports Department began with two matches yesterday.

Present to officiate the championship was Haji Ahmad bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary Ministry of Culture, Youths and Sports.

Haji Ahmad received the cup and a $3,000 mock cheque sponsored by NBT Sdn Bhd from Anthony Bong, the Marketing Manager before handing over the cup to Pg Hj Ali Hassan Pg DSLJ Hj Abas, President of PBDBM.

The first two matches between Star Five FC and Madang FC and Emergency 'C' FC against June Nine were held at the Multipurpose Hall of Stadium Hassanal Bolkiah.

As many as 50 teams divided into 10 groups will play in the first round.
