Shamsaee leads Iran to beat Ukraine

Hosein Shams team ended their final warm-up stage with a brilliant win against Ukraine. Vahid Shamsaee scored 4 times to celebrate his 305 national goal for Team Melli in the friendly match arranged by Bastareno Sports Development and hosted by Qom Futsal Committee, the same city he played 1 season over there for Eram Kish. Thanks to the special atmosphere made by local fans Iran started the first half strongly and Shamsaee scored twice while Litvinenko stopped Iran to score more goals many times. But the second half had a different exciting story where Lisenchuk’s youngsters back to the game and forced Kings of Asia to treat defensively. Belous scored the first goal for Ukraine in minute 22 but after just 2 minutes a magnificent combination in the counter attack resulted in Iran’s vahid Shamsaee putting the lead up to 3-1. Rest of the game belonged to Ukraine but Iran was still very dangerous in counter attacks. A fantastic shot by Evgeniy Rogachyov in minute 30 brought his team back to life (3-2) and from that moment it was Mostafa Nazari’s turn to show his great goalkeeping ability to save Team Melli’s goal. It was 3 minutes to the end when the referee awarded Iran a double penalty following the 6th fault committed by Ukrainian defender. It was Shamsaee again who struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalie and extend the Iran’s lead to 4-2 after 37 minutes. Lisenchuk chose a power-play plan by replacing his goalkeeper with Sergey Taranchuk but it was an unsuccessful and just immediately let Ahmad Pariazar to shove the ball in easily to the without keeper goal.

It is said by local newspapers in Iran that Vahid Shamsaee (305 national goals) has broken the record of Manoel Tobias (302 national goals) and the Persian Pivot is the best ever scorer of the world, but no official records are announced yet for the national goals scored by Manoel Tobias or Shamsaee.
