Western Tigers and the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) battled to a draw at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
In the opening encounter, the energetic Sliver Shattas team displayed good coordination to defeat Flamingoes 4-1.
Silver Shattas led 3-1 at half time through goals from skipper Oswald Benjamin who booted in a double and John Waldron one, while Errol Squires scored a consolation goal for Flamingoes.
After the break Flamingoes, whose strategy seemed to be to defend stolidly whilst looking for goal-scoring opportunities, had their hopes dented when Leon Clement of Silver Shattas scored his team's fourth goal.
The second game was noticeable for the heavy scoring of Uprising, who recorded an impressive 7-0 victory over Melanie Lions who failed to roar and were mauled. Rensford Prince and Dexter `Dribble' Bentick netted twice while Devon Dookie, Omali Nassy and Cloyd Bascom each took turns to find the back of the net.
In the third game of the night Camptown continued the high-scoring trend by recording a 6-2 win against Pouderoyen Young Achievers to send them packing.
Camptown's skipper Dexter Mollyneaux and Maurice Prince each scored hat-tricks. Jason Critchlow and Winston Johnson were the goal scorers for Young Achievers.
In the final game of the night, Western Tigers and GFC played to a goal-less draw at the end of regulation time.
Prior to the start of the matches Georgetown Football Association president Odinga Lumumba, Banks DIH Sales and Marketing executive Carlton Joao and Kashif Muhammad delivered brief remarks, while Star Search winner Lisa Punch delivered a knockout with her rendition of the national anthem.
