Thais set for Kuwait game

Thailand's futsal (five-a-side) team are confident they can beat Kuwait in the AFC Asian Futsal Championship at Osaka, Japan today. Head coach, Pattaya Piemkum said the team had played well in training. ''I am confident we will beat Kuwait,'' he said.

Team manager, Adisak Benjasiriwan said the only problem the team faced was a knee injury to goalkeeper Somkid Cheuta who will not play against Kuwait.

''But we still have our second goalkeeper, Parinya Pandee who is in good form, so it is not a big problem,'' he said.
