Foreign reinforcement to Chinese Futsal

Mico Martic, Croatian national team coach and FIFA Futsal Instructor, was invited to China to address lectures and to conduct trainings to both Chinese coaches on the national league and the players on the national team training camp from April 23 to May 1 in Beijing.

During the Beijng tournament of the Chinese Futsal league, Mico held a 5-day futsal course for all the coaches from different futsal clubs. Besides the coaches, some players and all of the league referees participated in the course. After the league tournament, Mico spent 4 days with the national futsal team in their training camp. Chinese Football Association had set up this camp for 30 days in preparation for the upcoming AFC Futsal Championship to be held from May 13-19 in Osaka, Japan. The Chinese national team coaching unit had summarized Mico’s theory as ‘time for space’, the faster the decision to be made, the more space can be gained.

On May 11, the Chinese National Futsal team arrived Japan for the AFC Futsal Championship. China is in the group D with Iran, Lebanen, Malysia.
