As reported by the Guatemalam portal Guate Futbol the local national team was invited to take part in an international tournament in Brazil, as a preparation for the following Panamerican Games. The event should take place in Rio de Janeiro since June 14th to 21st, the Guatemalan participation must be approved by the local Olympic Committee.
