Josè Alecio Da Silva, worldwide known in futsal as
Alecio, is the new coach of the Kazakh dominant club
Kairat Almaty, replacing the former trainer (brazilian as well)
Faisal Saab.
After long negotiations the Kairat Almaty Futsal Club management found the final agreement with Alecio, beeing his arrival in the Kazakh city expected by June 20th.
Well known and expert "fixo" (in Russia with Spartak Moscow and TTG-Java, in Spain with Barcelona between others clubs), Alecio was currently playing in the Liga Futsal 2007 with the carioca club
Teresopolis (together with his former team mate in Spartak, Edu) coached by the former coach of ACBF and Atlantico Erechim
Paulo Mussalem.
In Kazakhstan Alecio will only work as a coach, probably ending his impressive career in the pitch.
