Surprising result in the Moldovan Cup 2006/2007 final played in the beginning of May. The final triumph went to the ambitious Tornado Chisinau, which managed to conquer its first ever title by overcoming Rapid Chisinau after penalties. The hardest challenge in the Cup competition for Tornado arrived in the quarter finals match, when they faced and eliminated a club with great tradition in moldovan futsal like Camelot, recent winner of the national league (a special report will be published on Futsalplanet in the next days as well). We have to remind the "heavy" absence, in the final part of the season, of the former league winner Toligma Chisinau, which was supposed to dominate one more season in Moldova but disappeared due to financial reasons.
