Milo Hidup Bola Futsal Carnival 2007: Team Toleroe triumph

TEAM Toleroe were the best of the 178 teams which competed in the sixth leg of the Under-16 Milo Hidup Bola Futsal Carnival at the Sports Planet Futsal Centre in Subang over the weekend.

Team Toleroe, comprising students of SM USJ 12, beat Team Rumah Sungei Udang Klang 4-0 in the final, while SM USJ 2 Seafield beat Persatuan Belia Sri Tiga Serantau Jelebu FC 1-0 for third place.

The top four teams won prize money of RM1,000, RM800, RM600 and RM500 respectively. Each team also received Milo Hidup Bola commemorative futsal balls and a complete set of jerseys and balls from Figos, the official ball of the event.

The organisers also held a 45-minute coaching clinic, followed by an Under-12 friendly between SK Seri Setia and Taman Gembira FC. Seri Setia won 3-0.

Both teams went back as winners though with Milo medals and hampers.
Milo Sports Marketing manager Ng Ping Loong said the responses have been overwhelming thus far and urged teams to register early for the remaining eight legs.

"The Selangor leg is a record in terms of entries as 178 teams from all over the country competed. We even had teams coming from Penang and Johor.

"I urge teams to register early as registration for the next leg (at the Millennium Soccer Centre in Skudai Johor on Saturday) is already closed as 103 teams have registered," he said.

Entry forms are available at www.milo.com.my or www.syoknyafutsal.com. Contact Nik Muhd Radzi at 019-3519934 or 019-2102442 for further information. Entry fee per team is RM50.
