Pre-Selected National Team Summoned

Luanda, 05/22 - The senior male pre-selected national team of five-a-side soccer is gathering this Tuesday in Luanda, to start preparation works, aiming for the country´s participation in the third edition of the World Cup (Mundialito) to be disputed on July 04-09, in Monte Gordo region (Portugal).

The national team coach Shéu Cahalo will work with 16 players in the country, while abroad the Portuguese Francisco Baptista, technical assistant of the Angolan Futsal Federation (FAFUSA) will orientate the rest of the team abroad.

The work starts on Thursday in Luanda.

The team travel on 25 May to Portugal, to continue the training.

In Mundialito, Angola will be in the same group with Portugal, Slovakia, Hungary and Italy.

Here are the selected players: goalkeeper Cali (Toyota de Angola), Moreira (Rádio Nacional) and João Natas (Novos Talentos of Portugal).

Kiki (ENE), Zeca (Toyota), Micha (RNA), Galinha (RNA), Zé Lé (29 de Novembro do Namibe), Paulinho (Águias Vermelhas de Benguela), Tinto (Toyota), Anderson (Loures de Lisboa), Nito (Unidos de Cacém).

Tedinho (Ricov do Namibe), Vladimiro Campos (Fundão de Portugal), Edinho (Ex-Boavista de Portugal).

Toti (Coprite), Didi (RNA), Jorge Fernando (Sporting de Portugal), Mário (RNA) and Dito (Açoeiros de Portugal).
