Milo Hidup Bola Futsal Carnival 2007: Skudai Extream, Branco in Grand Finals

The top two teams Skudai Ekstream FC and Branco FC celebrating after qualifying for the Grand Finals.


SKUDAI Extream FC beat Branco FC 6-1 in the 7th leg of the Milo Hidup Bola Under-16 futsal carnival at the Millennium Soccer Centre in Johor Baru last weekend.

Anggerik ‘A’ FC thrashed Sepakat FC also 6-1 to finish third. F

A record 104 teams, the biggest ever one day futsal carnival in Johor to date, competed in the carnival. The number far exceeded the target of 48 teams.

Skudai Extream FC and Branco FC will now play in the Grand Finals on July 22 at the Sports Planet Ampang, Selangor.

The top four teams took home prize money of RM1000, RM800, RM600 and RM500 respectively, Milo Hidup Bola commemorative futsal balls, a complete set of jerseys and balls from Figos, the official ball of the event.
A 45-minute coaching clinic was held before the curtain raiser — a friendly game between two Under-12 teams from Invitational schools. Team Stylo Mylo beat YH Sports FC 2-1.

Milo Sports Marketing manager, Ng Ping Loong, said: "The Johor leg created yet another record as being the biggest one day futsal carnival ever held at the Millennium Soccer Centre in Skudai with teams from as far away as Kuala Lumpur and Perak competing."

The eighth leg will be held on Saturday at D Futsal Centre Kangar Perlis. Entry fee is RM50 per team.
