Angola Press National Coach Takes Command Until 2008Luanda, 05/29 - The indoor soccer coach, Shéu Cahálo, has taken up command as national senior male team leader until December 2008, after signing Monday night a contract with the Angolan concerned federation (Fafusa).
Shéu has substituted António Leal and became the third coach under Luís Mourão’s administration. The first was Benvindo Inácio.
Among his goals are observation of games in and out of the country and a due participation in Mundialito’s third edition, scheduled to take place in July this year, at Monte Gordo, Portugal.
Winning the Cosafa’s first tournament, in December this year, in Maputo (Mozambique), and qualifying for the World Championship/2008, in December, Brazil, in which the continent has reserved only one place, are also objectives of Fafusa’s current administration led by Luís Mourão.
Shéu Cahálo started as deputy coach at Angola National Radio team (RNA) in 2001, took up leadership in 2002, having achieved the titles of national champion (2004), Angola Cup (2006) and SuperCup (2007).
