All AfricaNational Team Defeated in Preparatory Game13 June 2007Luanda
Angola's five-a-side football national team was defeated (4-5) on Tuesday evening in Luanda, by Toyota de Angola team, in their second test ahead of the participation in the third edition of the Monte Gordo (Portugal) World Cup, ANGOP witnessed.
The goals were scored by Arione, Ze Le, Micha and Galinha, for the National Squad and Paulo Sergio (2), Manteiga (2) and Funda (1) for Toyota (national champions).
The National Team had a 1-1 draw against ENE, in their first preparatory match.
Other preparation games are expected for June 19, against JP from the Luanda provincial championship, Coprate and a mixed team of Luanda, as informed by the National Team's coach Sheu Cahalo.
Meanwhile, the National Squad leaves for Portugal on June 25 to participate in the World Cup, organised by the Portuguese Football Federation and the sporting events promotion firm "Castro Brothers".
Participants at the competition are Portugal (host country), Angola, Slovakia and Hungary.
Argentina, China and Japan are still competing for the last two vacancies.
