Soraiya GharahkhaniST PAUL'S Primary School didn't put a foot wrong at the NSW primary schools regional futsal (indoor soccer) championships at Minto Indoor Sports Stadium.
The girls' team did not have one goal scored against them in five games they played.
In final, they smashed Harrington Park 7-0, while the boys finished off Glenwood claiming a 4-2 victory.
Both teams now qualify for the Futsal State Championships at Penrith on Tuesday, July 24, which feature the top two teams from each region around NSW.
Team captain Aaron Dalmazio said the boys' team played seven games throughout the day.
''I thought we would win at least two games but during the day I thought we had a good chance of winning the finals,'' he said.
''In futsal there's not much running to do because it's all about tactics. I thought Glenwood was a hard team but we won.''
Senior girls player Alice O'Rourke said her team hopes to put on a good performance at the state titles.
''No goal was scored against us,'' she said. Last year in the state competition we were knocked out in the first game.
''We're quite confident that we'll do better this time.''
