CONCACAF.comUSA fall in two games against Spain17.6.07 - In preparations for the Futsal tournament at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janerio, Brazil next month, the USA traveled to Spain and lost a two-game series against the hosts last week.
Two goals by Saul and one each from Borja, Isco, Juanra and Rafa Muñoz led the defending world champion Spain to a 6:0 win over the USA in the first game at the Municipal de Lucena in Lucena, Cordoba on 13 June.
Two days later, Juanra and Lin scored two goals each as the Spanish side topped the stars & stripes 8:1 in the second encounter at the Municipal de Andújar in Andujar, Jaen.
This was the USA’s first visit to Spain since they competed at the 1996 FIFA Futsal World Championship.
