Maltese Futsal champions Jeepers FC will be taking part in the prestigious UEFA Futsal Cup. Jeepers FC will face Swedish Champions Skovde AIK and Bosnia & Herzegovina Champions MNK Kaskada Gracanica in Group E. This mini-tournament will be played in Sweden between August 11th and 19th.

Jeepers Handyman Centre won the 2006/07 MFA Futsal Championship Playoffs, defeating previous year's champions Hibernians with a score of 8-3 and also the other former Maltese champions European Pilot Academy with a score of 6-3. A 1-1 draw in the last match with Scandals Bar was enough to secure the first league title for Jeepers FC. The club was formed in 2002.

The 2006/07 season saw Jeepers Handyman Centre also reaching the semi-final of the Maltese Futsal Cup. Striker Zeljko Anicic was voted MFA Best Futsal Player of the Year and was a finalist in the same category of the Melita Digital Malta Football Awards.

The Annual General Meeting of the club was held on the 11th June 2007 and Mr Richard Busuttil was elected new president. Mr Christopher Borg and Mr Ian Tirchett retained the post of secretary and treasurer respectively. Mr Noel Attard Flores was confirmed Team Manager and Mr Gianluca Busuttil is the new PRO. The club officials are Mr Jurgen Darmanin and Mr Mark Serge.

The pre-season training commenced on the 12th June.

Futsal is indoor football played on basketball-sized courts. It is officially recognised by UEFA and FIFA and is the fastest growing indoor activity in the world. More information on this sport and on Jeepers FC can be found on www.jeepersfc.com
