Ipswich Wolves became FA Umbro Futsal Cup champions for the first time on Sunday following a 6–4 victory over Vaughans.

The English Institute of Sport in Sheffield once again played host to the ever-growing competition, which this year staged women's and youth events.

The Suffolk-based winners will now go on to represent England at next year's UEFA Futsal Cup. Meanwhile, Chippenham Futsal club won the Plate competition.

Watford Ladies squeaked through in the Women's Final following a penalty shoot-out against an excellent Sheffield and Hallamshire U16 County team.

Preparation for the 2008 Tournament will begin from 1 October 2007 when The FA will advertise for League organisers to come forward to organise qualifying competitions and tournaments. More information will appear here on TheFA.com later this year.
