CONCACAF.comCosta Rica lose first friendly against Brazil16.7.07 - Costa Rica’s Futsal Team lost the first of two friendlies against the hosts Brazil, by a score of 9:1, at the Ginásio Pedro Rage Jahara in Teresópolis on 15 July.
Falcão had three goals, Betao added two and Betinho, Ciço, Marquinho and Valdin each scored for the samba kings, while Yanán Montoya had the only goal for the ticos.
Both teams will meet again in the second friendly at the Ginásio Pedro Rage Jahara in Teresópolis on 17 July.
Costa Rica and the hosts Brazil are in preparations for the Futsal Tournament at the 2007 Pan American Games from 23-28 July at the Riocentro Pavilion Sports Complex in Rio de Janeiro.
